We help enhance command Spiritual Readiness through ongoing services and events at three locations:
Seabee Chapel - Port Hueneme
Chapel of Faith - Point Mugu
Chapel of Peace - San Nicholas Island Seabee Chapel:
Protestant Services: Sundays 0900
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Sundays 1400 (beginning 11 January)
Catholic Mass: Sundays 1900

Our registration list is packed with incredible kids from Kindergarten through 6th grade signed up and ready for an amazing week at Vacation Bible School this summer! To safely host the program and give our kids the best week ever, however, we must meet our minimum volunteer threshold.

If you have a heart for kids and want to make a lasting impact in our community, we want you on our team! If you’re a high schooler looking for volunteer hours or just love to serve, we’ve got you covered!

Whether you want to be right in the action or help out behind the scenes; whether you are available to lead/assist a class, or can only give a short amount of time, we have a spot for you! Don’t worry, all volunteers will be trained!

Join us in sowing seeds of faith and fun into our military kids this summer. We truly cannot do this without your help!

The RMTs got together this week to wish Fair Winds and Following Seas to Chaplain James Hummel, who will be off to his next duty assignment at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. He served the last two years at NMCB-5.

Did you visit the NBVC Chapel pit stop at the Fleet & Family Support Center’s family movie night last week? 🏁⛽️

Kids raced cars, got creative at our coloring station, got cool racing tattoos, and refueled with some “91 octane fuel” (apple juice).

We loved getting to connect with families and share a reminder that taking care of ourselves spiritually is just as important as keeping a car fueled up and running strong.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and helped make it such a fun night for our military families and kiddos!

Vacation Bible School is coming to NBVC Chapel!

Mark your calendars for July 27–31, 2026 and get ready for a fun-filled week of faith, friends, and unforgettable memories!

Open to kids Kindergarten–6th grade
0900–1200 daily
Seabee Chapel, Port Hueneme

Registration is officially OPEN—don’t wait to grab your spot!
We’re also looking for volunteers (9th grade and up) to help make this week amazing. Sign ups are at the QR code on the flyer!
