⚓ Anchored by Hope ⚓

What a beautiful morning at Open Air Worship.

Pastor Warren Brown shared a message especially fitting for those of us who call the shores of Lake Erie home: “Anchored by Hope” — a reminder that when life feels uncertain, we have an anchor that holds.

And then Melinda Bahnsen Fluckinger absolutely knocked it out of the Open Air parking lot with her incredible rendition of Coldplay’s “Fix You.” ❤️ We hope you’ll turn up the sound and listen.

It’s hard to believe, but we have just ONE Sunday left of Open Air Worship this summer!

Big news! 🐝

We have BIG news! 🐝 We’re changing things up for Happy Hive—with a new location and a new day of the week!

Our next Happy Hive on Thursday, August 27 will be cancelled as we make the transition.

We’ll be back together on:

📍 Trinity United Methodist Church – Port Clinton

After September 8, Happy Hive will meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month!

Help us invite families who could benefit from:

• adult conversation without the interruption of little ones (childcare provided!)
•parenting hacks from other parents and professionals,
• preschool and kindergarten readiness tools,
• fun and games, and
• time to unwind and find a little balance and recharge

Our good friends and neighbors at Port Clinton Trinity United Methodist Church have recovered from flooding in the Sutton Center parking lot, and still they donate to Bistro 163! We are grateful for their ongoing support of our mission.

PORT CLINTON - July 6 flooding caused electrical damage to the worship wagon used by Trinity United Methodist Church for Open Air Worship, but the damage is now fixed, and outdoor worship is back. Locals and tourists are invited to worship from their cars in the parking lot at the Sutton Center, located at 1848 E. Perry St. in Port Clinton, on Sundays at 9 a.m. Open Air Worship is led by Pastor Warren Brown, shown here in the worship wagon, and will continue through Labor Day. (Submitted photo)

What a joy to be back at Open Air Worship this past Sunday after the flooding. ☀️

We gathered once again in the Sutton Center parking lot for music, prayer, Scripture, and community—including a special moment with Michael Giangrande singing “God Bless the USA.” 🇺🇸

Open Air Worship continues every Sunday through Labor Day, and all are welcome to join us.
