Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County A spiritual community where reason & social justice matter. Services every Sunday at 10:30 am. We are a harbor for the heart and a sanctuary for the soul.

As Unitarian Universalists, we value religious exploration in a multi-racial, multicultural environment. You will find here a caring community that will be with you through life’s joys and struggles. We believe that nurturing the spirit can help heal our world.

"The world does not feel steady right now. Institutions we were taught to trust are unraveling. Power is being abused without accountability. Fear is being used as a governing strategy. Many of us wake each day bracing ourselves for what new harm will be revealed." [Rev. Cameron Trimble]

We may think our choices are to fight or take flight, but what if there was another option..."tend and befriend?"

Join us for worship this Sunday February 22nd 10:30 as we explore what having "The Courage to Stay" might look like!

Rev. Shayna Appel
Ordained Minister; United Church of Christ & Unitarian Universalist Association
Chaplain; Townsend (MA)

These are not ordinary days.

In “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” Wren Bellavance-Grace speaks directly to this moment—naming the fear, exhaustion, and grief so many are carrying, and affirming that it is both normal and human to feel not okay right now.

She reminds us that our congregations remain places of welcome, love, and safety—and that none of us are meant to carry this alone. Not everyone is called to the front lines. Each of us is called to do what we can, where we are.

🌱 If you could plant one seed in our UU faith for the next generation, what would it be?

A seed could be a value, a practice, a story, or something entirely new. What would you want to grow and flourish for those who come after us?

💬 Share your answer in the comments below—we’d love to know what you’d plant!
