Today we celebrate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the followers of Jesus and the Church was empowered to live on mission.

Pentecost reminds us that God does not leave His people to follow Him in their own strength. He gives us His Spirit, unites us as His Church, and sends us into the world to be witnesses of the good news of Jesus Christ.

The same Spirit who moved in Acts 2 is still at work today, leading, empowering, and transforming lives.

Come, Holy Spirit.
