We are taking donations of hygiene items, blankets, gently used or new mens and women's jackets sweaters or sweatshirts all sizes, hats, gloves, scarves, hand warmers, thick socks, ponchos, tarps, bottled water,non-perishable food items and any other small gifts to bless the homeless in our area with Grace Packages our congregation will be putting together for them. This will be an ongoing project to help the homeless and can't continue without your support. All items can be dropped of at Eternal Life Covenant Word Ministries 101 Main Street in Port Byron, NY 13140 or you can call (315)237-4321 or (315)209-9422 and set up a time for us to meet with you and get them. Today we want to take the time to pause and honor those who laid down their lives to serve this country. They did so to make sure it remained a free country for you and I. We want to also honor thoes still serving today. This is a true show of love and what it really means. Most people would define love as an emotion—affection, passion, or tenderness. The Bible, however, describes love in terms of sacrificial actions. Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13)
