Dear Friends and Boaters,
Our 2026 Eucharistic Flotilla is only 10 days away.

I hope to see a fleet of 25+ boats and vessels at this year's flotilla.
if you are sailing in the flotilla, be sure and register your boat.

To encourage this, we will have a drawing for this St. Brendan boat medallion from the registered vessels.

Also, you can go to www.dioceseofbmt.org/flotilla for the full schedule of the events and how to gain a plenary indulgence for the 800 anniversary of the entering into eternal life for St. Francis of Assisi.

On Friday we bid farewell to our friends onboard the DSV Vinnice which has been in Port since May of last year. Still in need of repairs, she is currently underway by tow boats, to Port Fouchon. Doreen Badeaux visited the vessel along with a visiting priest Fr Mark Kusmirek. He was kind enough to bless the ship and crew before the ship departed. The company had to bring air conditioning units onboard, and several other improvements before the Coast Guard would allow this movement. We are incredibly thankful for the great care that our Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection and International Transport workers Federation has given to this crew. We will continue to monitor their progress and help get back wages for some of the former crew who are still awaiting what is owed to them. Thank you for the continued prayers!
