Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church

Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church Our mission: As members of the Body of Christ, we seek to be a spiritual and charitable resource of Padre Islands.

Trinity by the Sea is an Episcopal Church, a parish of the Diocese of West Texas, founded to serve Mustang and N. We welcome in all people to participate in the life of God through worship and then be sent out into the world to make the kingdom of God a day by day, living reality. This is impossible work, except that we depend on God's grace.

Join us tonight to raise money for those who’ve lost their homes in Georgia and Florida by devastating wildfires.

🔥Spread the word! 🔥 Join us tomorrow at 6 for a fundraiser at the Gaff to help support disaster relief for those impacted by wildfires in Georgia and Florida, just a little off the coast.

Fr. James has connected with Fr. Alan, rector of St Mark’s in Brunswick, Georgia. They are purchasing RV’s for people in Brantley County who have lost their homes.

Music and fellowship. All donations will go directly to St. Mark’s to help their short/ mid-term housing program.

Below is from one of his parishioners, an active member of their church:

Good morning. Whatever the church can do for the residents who have lost everything in the wildfires out here and the fire personnel working the incident, I think it is important that we do it. I’ve been in public safety & emergency services since I was a teenager, before I even graduated high school, and I have never personally witnessed human tragedy and suffering on this scale. There are no words to describe what it is like here right now.

For my family personally, we have been fortunate thus far. The fire jumped breaks and was very close to my mom and dad’s house yesterday. Massive amounts of ash and hot embers showered our houses, but thankfully none ignited. We remain in danger every day as fire activity increases with afternoon heating & wind.

So, my family is personally ok right now. But so many — SO MANY — have lost everything
