My Friend Ain’t No Joke! He Keeps Me Real!

Do you need evidence that you are saved? If you find yourself walking by faith saying, “The struggle is real.”, then you are one of God’s Chosen Saved Souls. Brothers and Sisters, the struggle is real if you are saved. You better believe the Flesh rises with a hope to get you and I to please its every desire. Every soul saved by the grace of GOD will be challenged each and every day for this struggle is real. Truth be told, only the unsaved can go through this life unchallenged by the people, places, and things of the world. This struggle ain’t no joke. As we start each brand new blessed day, please don’t forget your Helper is up and ready to guide and lead the way. I know we are quick to say, What a friend I have in Jesus” who sits high in Heaven, but don’t you forget to walk with and in the Spirit. Jesus prayed and the Father sent another Good Friend, Comforter, Advocate, Helper, Everything to dwell within us to overcome and conquer every struggle in our lives. Like the power in the name and blood of Jesus, there is a power, a same power of the Holy Spirit, Spirit of GOD to warn, teach, encourage, and convict us through every storm, trial, and tribulation. When you know GOD is for you and with you, why would any of us in our righteous mind want to ignore, brush off, or run off without the HIM who dwells within each of us with the power and might greater than he and everything else in this world. The Holy Spirit is waiting to lead the way with all power in His hands on earth like the Father and Son in Heaven. Don’t let the Holy Spirit’s power go to waste saving for a rainy day. Experience the Holy Spirit’s power now and forever more. The struggle is real, but as long as we move out of the way and allow the Holy Spirit and His power to lead the way, we will forever be able to make a way out of no way. Get to know the true and real Ride or Die dwelling within you, the almighty gift who’s name is the Holy Spirit, the one who is real in my soul.

What is Grace?

The Magnificent Grace of GOD is showing favor to the inferior and undeserving. Grace is unmerited favor which one cannot earn or bargain to gain. Grace is the inexhaustible supply of God’s favor and goodness where GOD does for us what we could not do for ourselves. Grace is what GOD does for us independent of us. Grace is Free. Grace is apart from works. It’s not about what we do, but God’s will and purpose in choosing us. If grace came by our works, Christ died on the Cross for nothing. Grace is comprehensive. Grace covers a multitude of sins, troubles, trials, and tribulations. So, keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. Our Big GOD with all His amazing grace will put you together and on your feet for good. God’s grace is powerful. But where sin abounded, grace abounded more. No matter how deep in the valley we go, how low we go, how dirty we get, no matter how long we have hidden ourselves in the dark, Grace abounds more and will get us out. Grace is stronger than our strongholds, addictions, lust and desires. The beauty of Grace is all that GOD has and will do for you and me has been set. It is for us to access and see the plans and purpose the Lord has for us. It is the truth we know that sets us free to access God’s plan for you and me. If you want to know the future the Lord has for you, know Christ Jesus. Know Him personally. We gain access to what GOD has already planned to do, when He sees we are trusting in Him. And where there is faith, we are where we can suck up all the benefits of GOD’s grace. This is whereby the grace of GOD; grace has the power to change you and me.

I’m So Over You!

Of all the names given those who believe Jesus Christ is born of GOD and who love the Father and His begotten Son, we are called Christians, Believers, Saints, Sheep, Children of GOD, Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Soldiers for Christ, and Disciples of Christ. Then there is this least used and spoken name, yet a most powerful name given to those who believe and love the Trinity is the name Overcomer. When we believe in Him, love Him and keep His commandments, we become one of the faithful few called Overcomers in GOD’s Kingdom. There are too many underachieving Christians and not enough committed Overcomers in the body of Christ bold and courageous enough to say, I’m So Over it, I’m So Over That, and I’m So Over You. We cannot play church and/or play with GOD and receive all Jesus promises to the Overcomers. To overcome is to prevail, win one’s cause, to be victorious in difficult circumstances which are holding one hostage. An Overcomer has and experiences the power of GOD in their lives, where underachieving Christians have the power, but never gain access to the power to overcome and do GOD’s will. Some play church and use their Bibles as a prop in their drama filled lives while Overcomers are always learning from GOD and His Word to troubleshoot and overcome the difficulties of life. Whatever worldliness, foolishness, selfishness, ungodliness, unrighteousness is in our lives, GOD wants us to overrule and overcome it with His Word, truth, knowledge, wisdom, and power. Don’t underachieve or be an undercover believer. GOD has called us all to be Disciples and Invincible Overcomers in Christ Jesus. I’m so over Satan and his lies, schemes, traps, snares, and fiery darts as I walk by faith with the Lord’s goodness and mercy to glory. Follow Jesus, the way, the truth, the life and overcome the world.

Let’s See If You Can Handle This, The Truth That Is!

Folk are quick to share a lie and bury the truth six feet under all at the same time. For many, it is far too easy to tell a lie because they have never received and accepted the truth. We pretend to know the devil is a lie, but we continue to receive and accept each and every lie as if the world tells the truth. The world’s truth is the devil’s lies in disguise available for all to receive and believe as the truth and nothing but the truth. Warning: Don’t get it twisted. Satan’s feel good free will truth is not the truth which sets us free. If you’re holding on to the world’s truth (the devil’s lies), then you are walking down the paths of bo***ge never to be set free. We are quick to shout “The truth will set me free” but we fail miserably at knowing GOD’s Truth is the only truth that will set us free. To know GOD’s Truth is to hold onto the teaching of Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. To hold onto Jesus teachings is to first know HIM; and to know HIM we must believe in whom HE is and who sent HIM. How can we know Jesus and GOD’s Truth when we’re shackled to the devil’s lies that bend and twist GOD’s Truth? GOD’s Truth is the only Truth created for both Heaven and earth that can remove the bo***ge of sin here on earth. The world’s truth (the devil’s lies) will have us thinking, saying, and doing whatever makes us feel good to please ourselves all the way to a life called Catching Hell. Jesus clearly demonstrated the GOD’s Honest Truth to you and I which has never failed at setting us free to make life choices and decisions aligned with GOD’s Truth. If and only if we listen, believe, and follow Jesus who has told us The Truth will we ever be set free to be the Children of GOD that GOD created us to be. Listen to what the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have to say as we walk by faith to an abundant everlasting life on earth as it is in Heaven.

Everybody Ain't Your Friend!

How many times have you been warned, lectured, and/or counseled that "Everybody Ain't Your Friend!". Whether it be Family, Friends, the Workplace or the Church, Jesus teaches us that not everyone is your friend. The truth is sometimes those closest to us allow themselves to be manipulated by Satan and his helpers. Satan can and will use other's selfish desires and agendas to attack us and GOD's Kingdom. Like Judas, our enemies (so called Friends) can be right under our noses in plain view. They may speak and smile with us each day, but will lie, backstab, and betray us in a heartbeat to carry out Satan's schemes and lies. Jesus teaches us not to worry or stop loving one another because it’s the Devil inside more than the person seen on the outside. GOD needs us to continue doing His Will here on Earth as it is in Heaven. Don't you ever think or assume betrayal, jealousy, and envy will never come your way. Jesus had his Judas and you can rest assure you will have your Judas (make that plural) also. If a Child of GOD lives long enough, then know your back will eventually feel the pain. Satan will always scheme, devise, and execute plans to have us turn away from God and His Kingdom. Satan wants us all to himself by any means necessary and what better way than through the people we see every day. It doesn't matter whether Satan's attacks come from a far or near, GOD needs you to stick with the plan HE has for you and only you. GOD's plan and purpose will always workout for the good of those who love the LORD. Don't you ever forget that a third of GOD's angels ran off with Satan and may be dwelling in someone smiling in your face today. Don't you worry a bit, because GOD has everything under His control. Simply keep GOD's Word with you at all times and allow the Holy Spirit to rule, abide, and guide your life down the paths of righteousness. Don't allow the evil ones with open or hidden agendas to steal your joy and rewards stored in Heaven. Through all the lies, deceit, and backstabbing, the LORD your GOD says fear not, because HE's in control of your destiny. GOD truly has our back when it comes to our enemies.

Get Up and Get Busy!

What are we waiting on and for when we should all be busy for the Lord? We are not to look for our rewards or special treatment but focused on putting Our Master first in all we do. We should all wait in service and listen with joy for Our Father in Heaven to say, “I have something else for you to do.” Honestly, there is too much sitting down doing nothing in the church going on today. Too many do nothing days, weeks and years in the lives of God's children. Too many faces in TV screens, tablet screens, computer screens, and phone screens the entire time Our Father is calling on us to do. Too many cannot hear God's call to service because of the distractions of the world. One day we will all learn the more we serve, the more we give up the world. Some will learn the blessed way while others learn the hard way. It's not my will, your will or our will be done, but His, Our Father’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Jesus said, when you have done all those things commanded of you, it is for us to say, we have done what was our duty to do. Make this note. Don't look for pats on the back, praise, or hot air to fill your ego for doing what you have been called to do. For all the Lord has done for us and doing right now, don't look for pats on the back. Keep serving him for in due time your banquet is coming. Humble yourself and trust in the Lord while you serve where you have been called to serve. I pray to Our Father we do what is our duty to do while waiting on all our rewards coming in due time.

Please, Don’t Look Back and Go There!

Jesus wants our undivided attention when it comes to following Him. Jesus wants us on task. Jesus wants us dedicating our lives to Him. Have you ever noticed a driver in front of you, going to slow, drifting to the left or drifting to the right and when you get side by side to see, you discover they are distracted? Jesus said, No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of GOD. Like a cell phone or cup of alcohol in the hands of a driver, we can't go and keep straight on the paths of righteousness through the narrow gate. If we are looking back to keep our eyes on the comforts, things, and people in the world, then we should prepare to crash and burn. We can't go straight with the comforts of the world. We can't fully commit to Christ, if we keep looking back for the things of the world. We can't keep our eyes on Jesus to follow Him, if we keep looking back at the people of the world. Don't go there! Don't look back! Jesus said, Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Friendship with the world makes you and I an enemy of GOD. Many are fit for service in the Kingdom, but not willing to pay the cost of discipleship, not willing to pay the cost of fully committing to Jesus because they just had to look back on what makes them feel good, what makes them comfortable enough to get in bed with the sin and desires of the world. Many are physically able to serve the kingdom, but not ready to follow Christ all the days of their lives. Don't go there! Keep your eyes on Jesus, the one who commands us to Follow Him.

Simon Says, Do What GOD Says!

It seems as though it is much easier for many of us to do what Simon and The World says do than to do what The LORD says do. In the game of Simon Says, we must do exactly what Simon says do confidently and without hesitation or be eliminated from the game without a chance at victory. Like Simon Says, many Believers want the blessings of GOD and His Kingdom without obediently following GOD's plan and instructions. GOD wants to bless us and will bless us when we learn to listen and follow His instructions. How we hear and understand GOD's Word determines our access to GOD's favor. There are blessings with our names on it but we refuse to listen to GOD's instructions on receiving them from Heaven above. Trust GOD and take yourself to the right place at the right time to do the righteous work of The LORD according to His riches and glory. Follow The LORD's lead to discover every blessing with your name on it. Listen closely without questioning and doubting GOD because He can put your name on it all on His own. GOD says, Follow my darling son Jesus and spread the good news.

The Right Place, Doing the Right Thing, at the Right Time

Our GOD has the best GPS here on earth. The Eyes of the Lord are always upon us, so open your eyes, get on the Right Dot, and Get It Right because GOD is waiting to bless you right on that dot. Are we on the Right Dot? Have we positioned ourselves righteously before the Lord? The author of Acts, Luke introduces us to someone by the name of Tabitha, who was on the right dot, ready and prepared to receive a miracle from Heaven above. Ready to receive the impossible, the Won’t He Do It!, Out of the Ordinary, Like No Other Blessing. Through her, the Lord shows us what we must do to hit and nail the spot to be blessed beyond blessed, receive miracle after miracle, experience abundant life in such a way all that can and needs to be said is, But GOD. We find at the right dot that Our GOD is a waymaker, miracle worker, and promise keeper when we follow GOD’s way to that right dot. To experience this kind of Blessed life, we must all do what Tabitha did. Who in God’s Kingdom does not need or want miracles in their life like Tabitha who was dead and about to be buried? I’ve had my share of miracles and do not want them to end now. We all need to be on that right dot, doing the right thing, at the right time. That right place GOD has called us to be. Let each of us get on our right dot and get it right to receive every blessing and miracle GOD has for you and me. Take it from Tabitha and GOD will make it happen for you. First things first, Tabitha lived a life where GOD was always First. To position ourselves to receive miracles, blessings, favor, and goodness, we must first be in the right place. That right place is GOD First in our lives.
