As we begin next week on our 13th year of Backpack Buddies of Poplarville, Inc., we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to ALLLLLLL of our supporters throughout the years.

This journey has been filled with lessons learned, wonderful experiences, and countless blessings.

Whether you volunteered, donated, prayed, organized, or supported us in any way, YOU are a part of the success we have achieved. Because of your generosity and kindness, hungry children right here in our community have received the food and support they need.

Thank you for standing beside Backpack Buddies for the past 13 years. We could not have done it without you, and we look forward to continuing this mission together.

🎒 Thank You for Helping Our Buddies! ❤️

The same Backpack Buddies officers… but two wonderful blessings from two generous community partners!

📸 Photo 1: Juniper Grove Baptist Church presented Backpack Buddies with $424.35, the amount collected during their Vacation Bible School. What a wonderful example of children and families giving to help other children!

📸 Photo 2: The Rotary Club of Poplarville presented Backpack Buddies with a generous $500 donation to help provide food for local students.

We are incredibly grateful to both organizations for choosing to invest in the children of our community. Your generosity helps us begin Year 13 of Backpack Buddies with encouragement and support.

We are so excited to share this video as Benjie Wells, co-owner of River Road Mercantile, presents the Backpack Buddy board members with a donation in the amount of $1,250!!! The employees worked hard selling raffle tickets for a beautiful quilt and firearm and gave the proceeds to us!

We are delighted to accept a $725 donation from the Mississippi Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators-MASFAA, with Dr. Jamie Missimer of PRCC serving as President. Each year, the President selects a charity to support, and we are grateful that Dr. Missimer has chosen Backpack Buddies for the second consecutive year. We appreciate being selected and extend our sincere gratitude.
