FINDING PURPOSE
It is a challenge to find some sense of calling in our lives. Often we float along for a while until we s
ettle into a career and family. But God teaches us that we were made for a significant life. At the BSU we dive deep in the truths found in the Bible. As we learn more about who God is and what He has done, we learn what a God-centered life looks like and gain direction for our future. BUILDING COMMUNITY
Relationships that last a lifetime are made during your college years. The events and small groups at the BSU provide an opportunity to connect with people in the same stage of life as you. Our common bond is Jesus Christ and the desire to welcome others into our community. The BSU is also a product of Christian community. Churches in the area give their time, energy and resources to ensure that the people who engage with the BSU see the love that God has for all people and the truth that's found in the Bible. GROWING LEADERS
We are continually looking for individuals who want to learn more from the Bible and take on new responsibilities. There are opportunities to play music or sing during worship events, lead small group Bible studies, spearhead local outreach projects, or go on mission trips. To those interested, we also offer scholarship opportunities to our leaders. SHARING THE LOVE
We welcome everyone to be a part of the BSU, but we want people to take the truth that they hear and the love they receive here outside the building. We want students to feel confident sharing their faith with others and putting their talents to work in the community.
