Prayers please!

Influential mission leader, Heidi Baker, issued a prayer request related to a growing threat from Islamic extremists killing Christians and burning villages about 60 miles north of the ministry headquarters where she and her husband, Rolland, are based in northern Mozambique.

The Blessings of Brotherly Unity

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Psalm 133

What a wonderful time for the Christian Believers, it appears that finally people are wanting to hear about God, heaven and about our Lord Jesus. I for one will never knock down the opportunity to witness to someone who has need of Jesus, of His wonderful works and His Word and the Holy Spirit which He sent to us to help us until His return to earth or our exit by the grave. But something is tapping on my hearts door and other believers as well, this time also opens the door for deception even wider. Remember we must always walk according to the Word of God, that's why we have it and as our world becomes the devils playground more and more each day, we must get the Word of God deeper into our hearts, mind and spirit. As things shape up on good ole earth we must realize all things must happen the way they do in order for God's Word and the imminent return of Jesus to unfold. Jesus warned that following Him would not be easy but He promised to never leave us or forsake us and we must hold tight to that as we tighten the belt of our armor and begin walking closer to Him. So moving forward from this minute, begin your devoted study of His Word and He will give you wisdom and understanding and this will help in standing for what is true, just and faithful. Pray.

1 John 4:1-6
Beloved do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confessed that Jesus Christ had come in the flesh is of God,
and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of error.
1Thessalonians 5:19-22
Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

And finally my brothers and sisters.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:3
Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, those who are mistreated, since you yourselves are in the body also.
*Pray for our brothers and sisters that are unable to openly attend fellowship today with others, pray for our brothers and sisters who are in chains or tormented for their faith in Jesus. Pray that they be encouraged and filled with the joy of God. Those of us who are able to worship openly and freely, let us not forget to praise and thank God for this freedom. Be quick to stand together. God bless you.

Luke 6:46-49 (Jesus speaking)
"But why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?
Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the storm beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."

Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Each of us have a job to do while here on earth. Sometimes, well most times, we are met with obstacles and circumstances that we allow to stand in the way of our responsibility to our King. Recently I have faced challenges that have put into place fear, worry, questions, but in the middle of this (bad dream) I have heard God's voice asking me again, " who do I serve Him for?" Now, that's a loaded question and our first instinct is to use our circumstance as a "I can't" attitude. This type of thinking and actions are called, disobedience. Does God allow things to happen? Yes of course. Does life just throw us curve balls? Yes of course. And during these pitches I came to realize 100% that its not what others say you should or should not do, but completely learning to walk with God and in His Spirit so as to hear reasonable counsel from Him and those He puts in our path for counsel. Leading up to this time, I had two completely separate people of God witness to me in Spirit and this reached deep. But to no avail I allowed my physical eyes to guide me, which leads me to the scriptures I share today.
Esther 3:16 Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"
She did what she was led to do. Relying on her trust in prayer, and fasting. She did it for the sake of those who could not. We can live strongly and passionately if we live by God's word and Spirit. Our tasks will at times present hardship and paths of decision but Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
So trust God to be with you. Do what you were born to do. Build your fellowship with God, get His Word deep inside of you. Answer your call. Remember we aren't called by God to keep it to ourselves and its certainly not to put n some reserve.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Pray for those persecuted, pray for their joy, which is their strength. Pray for and encourage one another. Share the good news of Jesus to the rejected, hungry, blind, to those who live by physical sight.

1Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Feel closed off? Forgotten? God is still with you. He knows you and made you for exactly His purpose. Psalm 139, have questions? Read and study and get Him deep in your heart, He will show you His way. Enjoy this study and God's blessings be upon you.
Psalm 139
1. O Lord You have searched me and known me. 2. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. 4. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold O Lord, You know it altogether. 5. You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. 6. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high I cannot attain it. 7. Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8. If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10. Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. 11. If I say, "Surely darkness shall fall on me" Even the night shall be light about me; 12. Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You. 13. For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of earth. 16. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. 17. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18. If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. 19. Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me therefore you bloodthirsty men. 20. For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain. 21. Do I hate them O Lord who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? 22. I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them as enemies. 23. Search me O God and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24. And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way, everlasting.
