Each of us have a job to do while here on earth. Sometimes, well most times, we are met with obstacles and circumstances that we allow to stand in the way of our responsibility to our King. Recently I have faced challenges that have put into place fear, worry, questions, but in the middle of this (bad dream) I have heard God's voice asking me again, " who do I serve Him for?" Now, that's a loaded question and our first instinct is to use our circumstance as a "I can't" attitude. This type of thinking and actions are called, disobedience. Does God allow things to happen? Yes of course. Does life just throw us curve balls? Yes of course. And during these pitches I came to realize 100% that its not what others say you should or should not do, but completely learning to walk with God and in His Spirit so as to hear reasonable counsel from Him and those He puts in our path for counsel. Leading up to this time, I had two completely separate people of God witness to me in Spirit and this reached deep. But to no avail I allowed my physical eyes to guide me, which leads me to the scriptures I share today.
Esther 3:16 Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"
She did what she was led to do. Relying on her trust in prayer, and fasting. She did it for the sake of those who could not. We can live strongly and passionately if we live by God's word and Spirit. Our tasks will at times present hardship and paths of decision but Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
So trust God to be with you. Do what you were born to do. Build your fellowship with God, get His Word deep inside of you. Answer your call. Remember we aren't called by God to keep it to ourselves and its certainly not to put n some reserve.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
Pray for those persecuted, pray for their joy, which is their strength. Pray for and encourage one another. Share the good news of Jesus to the rejected, hungry, blind, to those who live by physical sight.
1Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.
