Lots of fun for kids of ALL ages!There will be a shooting contest for junior high and high school students, 8 legged race (team sport), water balloon toss among other things... come on out on October 31st, at the Tabernacle!

Join us Saturday, October 31st near the Tabernacle for all sorts of fun! Good, clean family fun for kids of all ages.

HALLOWEEN - Trunk or Treat at the Tabernacle - 5:30. Bible-themed trunks only, please. There will be a $50 gift certificate for best decorated - and we need candy for this event! 🎃 Christway Baptist Church and PGMC are sponsoring this event

Daylight Saving Time ends - set your clocks back 1 hour.

All Saint's Sunday - a time of remembrance for those who have gone ahead of us. We will also be celebrating New Member Sunday and the dedication of the new windows - the 130th anniversary of our Historic Sanctuary. Reception to follow

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 -
Board meeting at 8:30 - all are invited and encouraged to attend as we offer our thoughts about our growing church

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11 -
Veterans Day luncheon at the school
The Poolville HS Culinary Program will be providing lunch but our members are encouraged to attend to thank our veterans for their service.

SATURDAY, NOVEMER 14 -
First Annual Poolville Chili Cookoff being co-sponsored with Poolville HS Culinary Program. Chris Van Rite has entered a team from our church - "Jesus Take the Ladle". There are 3 categories, traditional red, green and open. Teams can enter for $100. The public is invited to attend and tickets can be bought - $10 per ticket to taste the chilis and vote for your favorite entry. Proceeds benefit the PHS Culinary Program.

PGMC will be celebrating New Member Sunday as we formally welcome all our new members to our church family. If you have been waiting for the right time, this is it!

In addition, we will be dedicating the new glass windows that replaced the stained glass windows, bringing our church back to its original look on the 130th anniversary of the building of our sanctuary. There have been many changes to our church building and it has now returned to the time when people came to worship so many years ago. We are looking forward to the next 130 years!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 - HALLOWEEN TRUNK OR TREAT - Christway Baptist Church and Poolville GMC will be at the Tabernacle on Halloween, 5:30 - 6:30 pm. This will be a time of fun and fellowship. Decorate your cars (Bible Themes only) bring treats and enjoy a time of fun.
