Saturday, May 30 at 1:00pm ET, Pope Leo will be leading the Holy Rosary live from the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens. He is offering this rosary for peace in the world, especially for an end to war. You can find more information at the link in comments.

If you would like to pray in community with others, you are welcome to join us at Corpus Christi. We will gather in the sanctuary to listen to the Holy Father and pray along with him. Doors will be unlocked at 12:45pm.

It is a beautiful witness that Pope Leo will be praying the rosary from the Lourdes Grotto. St. Bernadette Soubirous, visionary of Our Lady of Lourdes said, "The Blessed Virgin held a beautiful rosary in her hands at Lourdes, and from her example I learned to love it. The Rosary is a sweet chain linking us to heaven. It is the prayer of the simple and the great alike. I have found no surer way to maintain a spirit of recollection and peace of heart than to meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary. It is Our Lady’s school, where her children learn the secrets of the Gospel through her eyes and heart."

Our parish is taking a group to see the Savannah Steel play their first home game tonigh and we still have some tickets remaining. Pregame party at Enmarket starts at 5pm, game is at 7pm, and then head down to the court for a photo after the game (registration required). See you there!

Happy Mother's Day!

Loving God, as a mother gives life and nourishment to her children, so you give life and care for your Church.

Bless these women, as we celebrate this day in their honor. May they be strengthened as Christian mothers. Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.

Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor and appreciate them with a spirit of profound respect.

May the example of Mary, mother of Jesus, inspire them to live their vocation as Christian mothers and call their children to faith. Guide and protect them in challenging times and help them to continue to trust in you all the days of their life.

Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
