Today’s Sermon Recap | Pastor Brandon | Judges 8

Pastor Brandon reminded us today that God doesn’t need us to feel like “the one” in order to use us. Gideon struggled with confidence and even asked God for signs, but God had already placed victory in his hands.

One of the strongest lessons from Gideon’s story is the importance of knowing who is truly with you. Gideon didn’t have the biggest army, God used just 300 men. And even when they were exhausted, they were still in pursuit. They were tired, but they didn’t stop! When you know God is with you, you can keep moving even when you don’t feel like you have anything left.

Pastor Brandon also reminded us to thank God for the people who are willing to go to battle with us. Everybody won’t understand the journey, and everybody won’t support you, but God will make sure you have who you need.

And there is still a comeback! It doesn’t matter what people have said about you, how they’ve treated you, or what things look like right now. You have to know you’re on your way up. God can bring you from a place of insecurity to a place where people have no choice but to recognize His hand on your life.

But the message also came with a warning: be careful what you fuel. What you continue to feed anger, bitterness, pride, offense, fear can eventually grow into something that destroys the future God is trying to bring you into.

The takeaway: You may be tired. You may have doubted yourself. You may not have as many people with you as you thought you needed. But if God is with you, victory is already in your hands. Keep pursuing, there’s a comeback with your name on it! 🙌🏾🔥

Sunday Service Highlights 🙌🏽

We experienced a powerful move of God this Sunday!

Pastor Brandon brought a timely word reminding us of just how infinite and all-powerful God truly is. He encouraged us not to place limits on what God can do—because in a moment, He can turn any situation around. What may seem impossible to us is effortless for Him!

Elder Kovan followed with a heartfelt sermonette from Ezekiel 36, speaking on how the people of God defiled His house and were cast out—but God’s mercy didn’t end there. He restores. He cleanses. He fills us again with His Spirit. It was a beautiful reminder that while God is full of love, He also chastens those He loves in order to bring us back into right relationship with Him.

No matter where you are, God’s grace still reaches, restores, and renews.

Sunday Service Highlights 🙌🏽

Pastor Brandon delivered a powerful word from 2 Samuel 21 titled, “Can Your Right Living Save Someone?”

He reminded us that when people insisted on having a king, they received one who pleased the people but not one who honored God. That choice had lasting consequences.

We were challenged to reflect on how King David had to confront and clean up a mess he didn’t create, proving that sometimes we inherit situations we never asked for, yet still must respond with obedience and integrity.

Most importantly, the message emphasized the power of being in right standing with God. Because of righteousness, judgment can be delayed, mercy can prevail, and lives can be impacted, even spared 🙏🏾

Your life matters. Your obedience matters. Your right living could make the difference for someone else.
