Another McDowell Pancake and Sausage Stuffer is over. There is still some bulk and link sausage for sale. Pick up at McDowell Church Friday (1/9/26) from 9 am until noon. Our phone is not working so coming to church is probably the only option. Please share this post. Thanks to the 900 people that supported our church.

McDowell Methodist church has canceled church and all other activities due to the weather 12/14/25.

We have decided to cancel church tomorrow (Nov. 30th) and also reschedule the church auction to Dec. 14th) We will have the Christmas program, lunch, and the auction Dec 14th. This will be a busy day, but we felt this would be the best way to schedule everything. So, if you have invited someone to the auction that would not be on Facebook or the email we sent, please let them know. Stay warm and safe.

Mark your calendars and pass the word to your friends, McDowell Pancake and Sausage Stuffer is one month away. It is January 9th, 2025. We are serving from 10 am to 7 pm. 12 years old and older, $10.00; 5 to 11 years old, $5.00; and under 5, free. Link sausage and bulk sausage will also be available. Sausage will be in 2-pound packages @ $5.00 per pound ($10/ 2 lb. package). Sausage preorders can be made through McDowell Methodist page.

Dearest Church family,
We wanted to send a reminder to everyone about our Sunday School kick-off
this Sunday, September 8th. There will be a short lesson inside combined with
the children's message; and then, weather permitting, we will go outside
for face painting, games, snacks, and more!
Then, at 4 pm, we will have our annual hayrack ride/weiner roast at Tavener’s timber.
Those interested in the hayrack ride can park at the Church. We will have 4 wheelers
available to bring folks to the campfire from your cars if you prefer to drive to the timber.
Please bring a friend!! Also bring a lawn chair for the evening festivities!
