If you show up to our Pontiac campus, you won't find a building. Instead, you'll find the finger prints of God's people at work: flowers, friendships, a playground, an orchard. There will be a few signs around to let you know you're in the right place. This work grew out of one person's love and vision for this community which spread among her friends and family, then to neighbors and other friends working in the city of Pontiac.

Time With The Father!
Calvary’s Pontiac Campus needs you!

With the success we experience last summer (a COVID blessing), we would like to invite you once again to share Time With The Father at Calvary's Pontiac Community Orchard.

The w**ds continue to march on and the beds are in need of mulch! Grab your family and your friends to w**d, mulch, and spruce up a bed at Calvary's Pontiac Community Orchard while enjoying fellowship, meeting our neighbors and praising God for all that he continues to provide.

Each flower, vegetable, and fruit bed has been named using the Books of the New Testament as well as a specific Bible verse as reminders of God’s goodness and love. We invite you to find the New Testament Book and/or Bible verse that you feel is calling you and adopt that specific bed for the summer. At the start, it may seem like a big task but there is so much to treasure in this experience throughout the next couple of months.

What a wonderful Father’s Day gift! Instead of the traditional neck tie or fragrant cologne, give your father figure the best gift of all - your time.

Why not offer to spend time working on this much needed project together?

Or you might use this simply as a time to spend with God, our loving Father.

The beds vary in size as well as need.

Be sure to bring gloves, shovels, trowels, lawn waste bags, bags of brown dyed mulch, or any tools that you think might be handy. Also, plan to take the lawn bags home with you when you have finished for the day since we don't have curbside yard waste pick up at this location.

Don’t forget to send us some awesome pictures of your time together sharing in God’s goodness as you spend Time with The Father via email or social media.
