You’re invited to join us this Good Friday, April 18 at 7 pm for the drama “Is It I, Lord?” A portrayal of the Last Supper and the emotions and thoughts the disciples would have been feeling that night.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of all our Fall church programs, so we wanted to help draw your attention to a few details and dates.
Tomorrow morning Pastor Mike returns to our study in Genesis. If you have time today to read Genesis 37, that will help prepare you as we begin to study Joseph.

Tomorrow evening we have communion and a meal to follow. Please bring a dish to pass.

Bible quizzing also kicks off tomorrow night. The students will worship with us and then head to practice and rejoin us for the meal. [Ages 6-Highschool. Please see pastor Mike if you are interested in coaching or have a child who is interested in participating. Quizzes are on the second Saturday of each month October- March. 12pm-3:30 except March finals which are an all day event. (8am-5pm)]

Awana begins this Wednesday at 6:45 pm. We will go til 8:15 this year in an effort to help each group have enough time to cover their material well.
Youth group, college, and adults will begin at 7 pm.

There was an email sent out mentioning a men’s breakfast this Saturday, but that is not actually happening this Saturday and is being postponed. We will be sure to get that date out to you when we know when it will be happening.

Praise the Lord! The power is back on at the church, so we will proceed with all planned services and our modified Evangelism Conference.
9:00 Sunday School - Session 1
10:00 Church -Session 2
6:00 Evening Service- Session 3

We are looking forward to hearing from Pastor Nathan Williams and being spurred on to become more focused on evangelism in our church and in our personal relationships.

A love offering will be taken.

A little slow in updating, but the church still has no power. So now we are praying it’s back on for the morning.
Our guest speaker, Pastor Nathan Williams, has graciously agreed to share what he had planned to share this evening during Sunday School at 9 am.
We will be taking a love offering for his family also.

Dear Marimont Church Family,

The church lost power late last night and is currently still without power. DTE estimates that the power will be restored to the church sometime today. We are praying that we can still begin our evangelism conference tonight, but we will have to cancel if it is not restored early enough. Here is our timeline for canceling:

We will cancel the 5:00 dinner if there is no power by 3:00.

We will cancel the 6:30 evening service if there is no power by 4:30.

We will keep you posted! You can check your email after 3:00 and 4:30 to confirm the status of these evening events. Or check back here on Facebook.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is ready to welcome in a new year. We wanted to remind you that we are having a family fun night tomorrow night at 6pm. We will have some organized fun, but you are also welcome to bring games to play after we wrap up the planned portion of the evening. We’d also love if people can bring along some snacks to share. Hope to see you there!
