Thanks to the Boy Scouts of troop 277 and many students who came out this morning to spruce up our prayer garden and narthex in advance of the Bishop’s visit tomorrow! We so appreciate you!

We are part of the Florida-Bahamas Synod, ELCA. In case you aren't aware, a synod is a geographical region. There are 65 synods in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which has about 8,400 congregations! Our synod, given its region, is well aware of it being hurricane season and they have a good tip sheet online for preparing your home.
