Christ Church Weekend Recap! This past weekend we had 2 outreach offerings on Saturday. Beaches Habitat Faith Build helping build safe and affordable housing. We also had our Family Service Day at Feeding NE Florida. Then on Sunday we had 15 youth and 7 adults confirmed with Bishop Stokes.

You’re invited to our Annual Oyster Roast on May 1st from 6–9 PM! Come enjoy fellowship with friends and neighbors as we celebrate 250 years of America—there’s truly something for everyone.

We’ll have indoor & outdoor dining, all-you-care-to-eat oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, pulled pork, corn dogs, and plenty of iced tea and lemonade (plus adult beverages—max 2 per person). Enjoy live music, a fun kids zone, and easy free parking in both the garage and surface lot. Tickets are on sale at our website ccpvb.org.

Giving thanks for all the Caring Connection Ministers who came to learn about Grief and Trauma from parishioner Jennifer Sawyer New,(MSW, MPH, Coach, Counselor & Consultant). Jennifer led us with grace, love and wisdom!! And a big thank you to Gretchen Peverley for creating the space and organizing this meaningful workshop.

What a beautiful and joy-filled Sunday at Christ Church this past weekend! ✨

We celebrated six baptisms, welcoming new Christians into our church family and rejoicing in the promise of new life in Christ. There is nothing more powerful than witnessing these sacred moments together as a community. 💛

We were also honored to hear from our guest speaker, The Very Rev. Ian Markham, alongside Rev. Dr. Barney Hawkins, whose words inspired and encouraged us in our faith.

And of course, our annual plant sale brought so much life and energy to the day—thank you to everyone who came out to support and take a little piece of spring home! 🌿🌸
