The Case of the Missing Wedding Rings
I received a frantic call from a lovely woman who was absolutely distraught. Oh no, she'd lost her diamond wedding ring set at St. Augustine Beach, Florida.

She explained that she had been refinishing furniture in her garage and, to protect them, slipped her rings into her back pant pocket. Deciding to take a break, she headed to the beach to walk her dogs. She also put a dog p**p bag in the same pocket. Somewhere along their walk, several blocks down the beach, she pulled out the dog p**p bag. When she got home, she realized her wedding rings were gone.

I immediately met her, and we walked up and down the beach. She desperately tried to retrace her steps, hoping to pinpoint where she might have pulled out the plastic bag, thinking that's when the rings fell out. I searched the area for several hours, but unfortunately, had no luck. Due to the rising tide, I had to return the next day to continue the search across the large area. Again, no luck, though I was quite certain that if the rings had been lost in the areas we searched, I would have found them.

The lady was incredibly thankful for all my efforts but told me she had given up hope of ever finding them. I reassured her to never give up hope, promising I would continue my search. That night, I lost sleep, racking my brain for other possible locations.

Early the next morning, I called her and told her I was heading back to St. Augustine. I suggested we search her garage, even though she was convinced the rings were lost on the beach.

Her wedding set was located right there, under the workbench in her garage. She had tears of joy!

4 CT DIAMOND RING RECOVERED FROM CAR USING ENDOSCOPE RETURNED TO OWNER..PONTE VEDRA BEACH,FL.

Sometimes metal detectors can’t be used due to other metals in the vicinity. In such cases, we can opt for visual searches or utilize specialized tools like endoscopes for small, confined areas that aren't visible to the naked eye. William called to inform me that while driving with his wife, she expressed concern about her wedding ring feeling loose. She effortlessly removed the ring and handed it to him. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when he somehow managed to drop the ring inside the car during the drive. Despite his certainty that the ring was in the car, he spent three days searching without any success.

Desperate to find the ring, William took the car to a Mercedes dealership and left it there for an additional three days. He instructed the dealership to remove the seats to search for the ring. Unfortunately, the dealership was unable to locate the diamond ring.

Concerned that the dealership might have stolen the ring, I agreed to search for it using some specialized tools I had successfully used in the past. The search took over an hour, but we were able to locate the ring wedged behind a small metal bracket in the seat mechanism. As seen in the photo, the ring was in a challenging location.

We were all relieved that the ring was found and returned, and now back on his wife's finger where it belonged.

Paul contacted me and told me that over the Thanksgiving weekend he was playing football in his front yard with his family. Later that evening he noticed his platinum wedding ring was missing. He and his family searched for 2 days with no luck, he even went to Bass Pro shop and bought a Minelab metal detector still no luck in finding his ring. 2 Sentimental "Grandma's" gold and diamond charms recovered from sand volleyball court.

I received a call from a guy who told me his wife was playing volleyball and lost her 2 gold & diamond charms that were from her Grandmother. He told me he would not be able to meet me at the location for a few hours due to work. I told him I would go search the area and recover the charms if possible and return them when he got off work. I received a call today from a couple who stated she lost her diamond wedding ring last week on her lawn in the rain. They told me they have been searching the lawn for a week and even used a metal detector, still unable to find it. Their friend told the tp look me up on TheRingFinders website. Diamond Engagement Ring Lost In House.. Jacksonville, FL. Found 1 Week Later
Andrea called me pretty frantic. She explained how her wedding ring set has 3 pieces and after returning from the gym she walked into her bedroom to prepare to shower. Before she was able to take her rings off, two of them just fell off her finger onto the floor next to the bed and nightstand. She was able to find one of the weddings bands and the other was still on her finger but her diamond engagement ring was nowhere to be found. She and her husband searched for an entire week even taking the bed and nightstand apart, still unable to find the ring. She said they were about to make an insurance claim but wanted to hire someone with expertise to search before making the insurance claim. I assured her that the ring did not vanish and we would find it. I arrived at her house with the tools needed to find her ring. Her bedroom floor was a laminate which would allow the ring to bounce. Within 2-3 minutes I was able to find her ring wedged into one of the nightstand legs. The ring was not in plain sight to the naked eye and somehow when the ring fell off her finger it bounced off the floor and under the nightstand, then wedged into the corner of the nightstand leg which had a wood support about 3" off the floor. Her husband started that he had taken everything out of the nightstand and turned the entire nightstand over searching of the ring. She was so excited that it was found she asked if she can hug me, then her husband asked to hug me also.

I received a phone call this afternoon from a very nice lady who told me she lost her platinum diamond engagement ring somewhere in her yard while gardening. I grabbed my metal detector and equipment and told her I would be there in 30 min. Once I arrived she said she did not feel her ring come off her finger and was not even sure if she took it off and placed it on a table before gardening, all she knew was it was missing. She showed me the area where she was gardening. I detected her garden and after about 30 minutes I found the ring by a potted plant in mulch.

PEARL BRACELET LOST UNDER DOCK RECOVERED DIVING..SECOND RECOVERY FROM SAME PRIVATE DOCK ST. AUGUSTINE
Last night I received a call to help recover a lost pearl bracelet which fell into the water from a private dock in St. Augustine. This dock is very close to one of the oldest churches in the country and was established in 1565. Her daughter in law did not want loose her pearl bracelet before swimming so she took it off and placed it on a table on top of the dock. When she returned and grabbed the bracelet it fell off the table and through the wood dock and straight into the water. Last January on the same dock another son had just proposed to his finance and when she held the ring up it flew off her hand and down into the water. That recovery took 2 days of diving due to the murky waters. I was really hoping this time the conditions would be better but it was not. Below the dock was a muddy oyster bed shelf and lots of debris from having the dock rebuilt. My visibility was almost non-existent I was lucky to have 2"-4" of visibility, had to have my mask almost touching the bottom to see anything. With a little luck and faith I was able to recover and return the pearl bracelet.
