Today, our community gathered for a special Blue Mass to honor the memory of those lost on September 11, to pray for the first responders and public servants who answer the call of duty, and to give thanks for their unwavering commitment and sacrifice. May their service continue to inspire us, and may the memories of those we remember today remain forever in our hearts.

Happy Birthday to our Blessed Mother!

Today, the Church rejoices in the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary,a day of joy and hope as we celebrate the one chosen by God to become the Mother of our Savior.

May we rejoice in this beautiful gift and give thanks for Mary’s place in God’s loving plan of salvation.

Today we give thanks to God for the gift of work and for the many ways we are called to serve one another. May this holiday be a time of gratitude, rest, and being with those we love.

On Friday, September 11, we will gather as a community to remember, honor, and pray.

Please join us for our Blue Mass at 8:30 AM, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall, and for Holy Hour at 5:30 PM as we pray for our nation, for peace, and for all who serve.

We also invite you to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country and the victims of 9/11. A Book of Remembrance will be available in the gathering area of the church, and we invite you to sign it with the names of those you would like us to remember in prayer.

Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join us. Together, let us remember with gratitude, pray with hope, and entrust our nation to God. 🇺🇸🙏

The Church dedicates the month of September to Our Lady of Sorrows.
Mary didn't flee from sorrow. She stood at the foot of the Cross with unwavering love, remaining faithful even in the midst of unimaginable suffering. Her sorrows teach us how to unite our own sufferings with Christ, trusting that God can bring grace from even our deepest wounds.

As St. John Paul II reminds us:
"Turn your eyes incessantly to the Blessed Virgin; she, who is the Mother of Sorrows and also the Mother of Consolation, can understand you completely and help you."

This September, may we draw close to the Sorrowful Heart of Mary and learn from her example of faith, hope, and steadfast love.

Today is the memorial of Saint Augustine of Hippo, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.
