Ponder FCA had great meetings at both the junior high & high school today. Julie McConnell led the students today at the high school. She did an incredible job explaining Philippians 4 with an emphasis on rejoicing in everything and being content.

Ponder FCA had great meetings today!

At the junior high, the group went through FCA Core 5. They talked about reading God’s word and applying it to their lives, not just reading it - but studying and know it.

At the high school, Matthew Colton, Youth Director for First Baptist Church, Ponder led the group through Philippians 3, where Paul explains that no matter who he is, or what he does— he is nothing without God.

Ponder FCA invites EVERYONE in our community, students and adults, to join together for prayer for Ponder Coach Blake Crutsinger at 5:30 tonight outside of the Ponder Athletic office, located at the northeast corner of Ponder High School. Coach Crutsinger was critically injured in an accident this weekend while representing Ponder at the Texas UIL Regional Track Meet. He is currently in the hospital with brain trauma and had to undergo surgery today. Thank you for joining in community prayer for Coach Crutsinger and his family.

Ponder FCA had two great meetings today!

Ponder High School FCA continued their way through Philippians lead my by Matthew Colton, Youth Director at First Baptist Church, Ponder. They discussed Philippians 2 today.

Ponder Junior High went through FCA Core 4 talking about communicating with our creator and how we can live a life of prayer. FCA Director, Dan Reed & Denton County Cowboy Church Youth Director, Aaron Wolgamott, were both onsite leading the group.

Good stuff for Ponder students!

Two great Ponder FCA meetings today!

✝️ At the junior high, they discussed
Romans 12:1-2 which instructs…

“Don’t pursue the world, but be transformed by God and allow Him to change the way you think.”

The students also went over FCA Core #3 and 1 Timothy 4:8…

“Training physically is good for a time, but training spiritually has benefits here and in the life to come.”

✝️ At the high school, Aaron Wolgamott, Youth Director from Denton County Cowboy Church spoke about

“Getting Jesus right.”

He emphasized…

“How can we get anything else right, if we don't ?”

The students also heard John 14:6 that says….

“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but through Me. “

Aaron asked the kids…

“Is Jesus our lifestyle?

When people look at us, what Jesus do they see?

The Jesus of the Bible or the Jesus of the culture?”
