Camp may not have any kids there today, but we are so thankful for the 6 weeks we had this summer as kids came and grew in their relationships with Jesus. Nothing better than hearing them shout YES YES LORD! Praying all the campers continue to solidify their faith now that they are back home and that they continue to say YES to Jesus in their daily lives!

The fun keeps coming as we swam at the river for the last time this week

The kids got to jump off the cliff ONE time as a taste of what is to come for older weeks!

We hope they had so much fun and want to come back next year with their friends!!

We swam at the river and we got to do some archery at the Elk Education Center!!

We appreciate the staff at the Elk Center so much! They are so kind to set up targets and teach the campers how to use the bow and arrow. We also take over the nature center for the morning as the kids explore the inside exhibits.

Parents, don’t let those kiddos fool ya - they do a great job washing dishes and sweeping/mopping!

We also have campers doing a showerhouse KP, picking up the rec room, filling water coolers, and other chores that keep the camp running

None of the staff get paid so we have the campers help out every day - and they really do such a great job.

Parents of high school counselors - your older kiddos know what they’re doing too because they are teaching and modeling for the campers. Don’t let them fool ya back home either 🤣

Game time, chapel, and Lost Valley Hike - another fun filled day here at week 6 of camp!

The Lost Valley Hike is different every single time - even the high school counselors who were campers weeks 1 & 2 saw a vastly different waterfall today than they did just weeks ago.

God’s creation never ceases to amaze us! What a privilege to get to serve in this beautiful area!!

Staff is up early to get in the Word before we officially start the day with the campers

Serving is not glamorous by any means - it’s exhausting (and yet so rewarding)

The only way we can pour ourselves out for the campers is to fill ourselves up with Jesus first

Be praying for the staff today - cooks, maintenance, counselors, directors, speakers, first aid, worship leaders…we all have a role to play

Pray for safety on the Lost Valley Hike later today

Pray for campers to receive God’s Word, to open their hearts and lives to Jesus

Pray that ALL of us would allow the Holy Spirit to do His supernatural work - as He always does - to make His glory known
