We had such a wonderful time at our last Family Fun Night that we planned a Fall Family Night! While we won't be serving a meal, you are invited to bring a snack to share. We'll have a bonfire & all s'more fixings to your little hearts content! The field will be wide open and there may even be some glow games!

As this is a bonfire event, keep a eye on our social media in case of inclement weather.

1. Read Psalm 89.

2. How would you characterize the psalmist’s hope? How about his worry or fear?

3. What do you observe in the psalmist’s conclusion? What does this tell you about his trust in the Lord’s faithfulness?

4. In your difficult seasons, do you approach the Lord in your questions and prayers with a trust in his faithfulness? If so, how? If not, where do you struggle?

5. What most encourages you from verses 50–51? What do we learn about the Lord from the fact that he invites and delights in our prayers?

6. What are you pleading with the Lord for right now?

7. Instead of grumbling in his waiting, the psalmist worship. In what ways can you worship in your waiting right now?

8. Read and meditate on Philippians 1 this week.

1. Read Psalm 89.

2. What do you learn about the Lord from verses 1–16? Did you read anything that surprised you?

3. What is it about the steadfast love of the Lord that causes the psalmist to sing? How does this encourage and inform your worship?

4. In verses 5–8, the psalmist celebrates the Lord’s sovereign authority. What comfort would this have been to the psalmist? What comfort is it to you?

5. How would you live tomorrow differently if you woke up and remembered that no one is as mighty or as faithful as the Lord? What can you do tomorrow to help yourself remember this? Share with your group.

6. In verses 9–16, the psalmist celebrates the Lord’s saving power. Which verse most powerfully illustrates this for you? Why?

7. How does the psalmist define blessing in verses 15–16? What would it look like for you to experience this blessing?

8. Read and meditate on Psalm 36 this week.

Family Night was one for the books! ❤️ From sharing a meal together and catching up with friends to watching the kids run, laugh, play, and get completely covered in foam 😂🫧—there were smiles everywhere!

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy the gift of community. Nights like this remind us that church is more than a place we gather—it’s a family we get to do life with and we are so glad so many joined us from PCC and the community. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came, served, cooked, cleaned, played, and helped make the evening so much fun!

Until the next adventure… 🫧😄

Our KidMin team tested out the makeshift Foam Machine and it works magically! 🧼🫧 What we learned for Wednesday’s Family Foam Night:
1. Bring goggles
2. Bring clothes to get soapy
3. Bring dry clothes for the ride home
4. Use the foam machine on pavement so we don’t get covered in grass clippings 🫣

Open to everyone in the community! There will also be non-Foam fun as well. 😜

Bring a dish to pass (or not, there will be plenty of food either way) and join us Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm. 👏🏻👏🏻
