Can You Stand the Storm? What Is Your Reality?

James 1 reminds us that storms are a reality of life. Everyone will face them, and we may not always understand why.

God doesn’t promise to remove every storm. Sometimes He allows us to go through them because they produce something in us.

James 1:2 says, “Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.”

Counting it all joy doesn’t mean the storm doesn’t hurt. It means I can be hurting and still trust God.

I can cry and still trust Him.
I can be tired and still trust Him.
I can be confused and still trust Him.

The storm is real. The pain is real. But so is God.

Instead of asking, “Why am I going through this?” ask, “Lord, what are You producing in me?”

If He brought me through the last storm, He will bring me through this one too.

💜 TODAY’S MESSAGE: JOB — GOD HAS ALL POWER 🙏🏽

Job lost almost everything, but he never completely let go of his faith in the God who had all power.

8 Attributes We See in Job:

1. Righteous — Job lived a life that honored God.
2. Faithful — He remained committed to God through trials.
3. God-Fearing — He respected and reverenced God.
4. Trusting — He trusted God even when he did not understand.
5. Patient — Job endured suffering and waited on God.
6. Honest — He openly shared his pain and questions with God.
7. Persevering — He continued through overwhelming adversity.
8. Humble — Job ultimately recognized God’s greatness and authority.

📖 Job 42:2: “I know that thou canst do every thing…”

Today’s reminder: You may lose possessions, face difficult seasons, or experience things you don’t understand—but DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH!

💜 God has all power. Trust Him. Keep believing. Keep standing. Keep the faith! 🙏🏽

God was testing Abraham’s faith, obedience, and trust in Him. Abraham demonstrated that he trusted God even when he could not understand what God was asking him to do.

Faith is trusting God even when you cannot see how He will work it out. Abraham’s obedience showed that his faith in God was greater than his fear of the situation.

Sometimes God will test our faith—not to break us, but to show us what is truly in our hearts. When we trust and obey Him, even when we don’t understand, God will provide.

Godly wisdom is a precious gift that brings true happiness, guidance, and understanding. Proverbs 3:13–15 teaches that the person who finds wisdom is blessed because its value is greater than earthly riches.

Money and material things can come and go, but God’s wisdom gives us direction for life, helps us make good decisions, and draws us closer to Him.

“Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom…” — Proverbs 3:13

When we seek God’s wisdom, we gain something far more valuable than wealth: a life guided by His truth and understanding.

Isaiah 41:10 reminds us that we are never alone. No matter what we face fear, uncertainty, hardship, or difficult seasons. God promises to be with us. We don’t have to be afraid because He gives us strength, helps us, and holds us up.
