Those who regularly attended CrossCulture are familiar with our "Knowing God" Sunday School series. We have it after our afternoon worship, and called the Series "Scripture in Today's Language" where we pick a passage of Scripture but before reading it, give the background, context and motive wherein it was first written in order for the actual reading to be fully appreciated.

Formally, the series is divided into 3 main parts:

1. God's purpose in history - reviews God's Word on why He created us and authored the Bible. Believe, me, God did NOT create us just for salvation!

2. Divine Revelation - How to read and understand the Bible for yourself and not always depending on others to interpret it for you. How NOT to misunderstand what God is saying.

3. God's will - Discusses why daily pressing into God's presence, delighting in Him assures us of God's will for us in this life. Explains why delighting in God requires the correct understanding of God's word and the correct mindset in prayer, then knowing and enjoying God's will follows after.

We invite you to join us in spirit as we will use this forum to share those principles with you, one digestible concept at a time. You are, of course, welcome to be physically present with us on Sunday's if you want a deeper discussion of these biblical concepts.

What is revolutionary is a perspective that most Christians have not heard before and may even involve unlearning the wrong doctrines we may have been taught in the past. We maintain always, "What does the Lord say?"

A Successful fundraising event. Thank you to Hometown Buffet Covina staff, crew, and management for all your help in assisting with our event. To all the family, friends, and people who supported us financially, who prayed for us, believed in us, encouraged and supported our vision & passion in building/growing our group and building the kingdom of God. Praise God for the many blessings He continues to provide us, and I'm excited for the next adventure we have in building God's kingdom together.

We are having a raffle to help raise funds for our church youth group. each ticket is $10 and the prizes for tomorrow's drawing (October 5, 2016) will be a (1) michael kors purse and (2) fujifilm instax mini 8 camera in black and blue. the drawing will take place at hometown buffet in covina at 8pm. please come join is for dinner and raffles in support of our ministry!
