We have a great group of friendly people who love the Lord and are excited for new people to walk through the church doors. Great, meaningful, and humorous sermons every week, come and enjoy. Youth group has a solid foundation and we are getting more youth activities started, so come be apart of what's going to happen in Pomona.

Funeral services for Jerry Lee Orf, 87, of Bakersfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at the Bakersfield Assembly of God Church. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to service time, also at the church. Burial will be in the Udall Price Mitchell Cemetery in Ozark County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. A military salute will be performed at the cemetery by local veterans and the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Request Team. Mr. Orf died Aug. 22 at his home in Bakersfield.

This obituary will be published in the Aug. 26, 2026, edition of the Ozark County Times.
