From Linda Wright- Lee:

Good morning my Family. I continue to have long conversations with my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ and God my Father. God brings comfort to the souls who are weary. Prayer works.

“I Love The Lord. He heard my cry. And pitied ev’ry groan. Long as I love while troubles rise. I’ll hasten to His throne.”

With great sadness, we share the passing of our former first lady, Erma L. Alexander Walks.

We remember and honor Erma Loette Walks (née Alexander), a remarkable woman whose life journey began in Guyana and flourished in the United States. A trailblazer in education, Erma was a dedicated teacher and administrator who profoundly impacted her students and community. Her innovative approaches in the classroom and her involvement in various organizations showcased her commitment to making a difference.

Erma's legacy is not only in the countless lives she touched through her work but also in her loving family, who carry forward her spirit of kindness and education. She also made an indelible impact on the lives of everyone who ever crossed the threshold at South Hills Presbyterian Church.

Her journey, marked by resilience, passion, and love, remains an inspiration to all.

She will never be forgotten.
