🌟 Future Leaders in Training 🌟

Our 5th graders are stepping up in the kids ministry. They will be running tech, greeting students, and living out servant leadership this year. They are proving that you are never too young to make a difference.

We still have several weeks left in the current Pathways schedule but starting in September will be a whole new schedule that will get us to January! Check out the upcoming list and dates and pick several of these to attend in the future!

It was hot, but boy was it beautiful! We had a great time with the young adults group on a float trip from Alley Spring down to Eminence and then finish it off with a delicious meal at the Dairy Shack! This has been such a fun group this summer and I’m kind of sad to see a few of them leave for college, but we’ve got an awesome young adults group here at Pomona Christian Church!

🛡️ SUNDAY RECAP: Putting on the Armor of God!

⚔️Our kids ministry had a blast diving into Ephesians 6 last Sunday! We learned all about how God equips us with His special armor to stand strong every single day.Not only did we study the Word, but the kids also got creative and crafted their very own armor pieces.

🔍 What We Learned:
🎗️ Belt of Truth to always stay grounded in what is real.
🛡️ Breastplate of Righteousness to protect our hearts.
👟 Shoes of Peace to spread God's good news everywhere we go.
🛡️ Shield of Faith to block out doubts and fears.
🪖 Helmet of Salvation to protect our minds and thoughts.
⚔️ Sword of the Spirit which is the powerful Word of God.

Ask your kiddos to tell you about their favorite piece of armor they created.
