Very excitedly the East Region was able to have an incredible Mercy Day by serving the elderly and the homeless!💚💚
In 12 hours total, 87 ambassadors and 6 visitors in attendance, were able to serve 108 people in need! There were many laughs and heartfelt moments made along the way!
30 Mercy Ambassadors served at a Memory Care facility with those who have Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Many of those served felt extremely loved and cared for, as they played Uno, Bowling, and even had an Ice Cream Social with short charges!

“These are the opportunities that you cherish the most and go back to. These moments are what you get to hold onto.”
“I remember hearing this scripture in 6th grade when I was younger, it was nice to hear it again.”
These were just a few of the words shared during the event that made everyone’s day, some even had mentioned how they didn’t want us to leave but continue to extend our visit! A notable moment came from Monica who started to cry when she heard we were leaving because she was able to create such a strong bond with the ambassadors!💚💚
A whopping 57 Mercy Ambassadors were able to help serve those in need on the streets of Pomona! With the help of donations, clothing and fresh water were handed out to all those who were in the area! A few ambassadors took it upon themselves to buy sandwich material and started making sandwiches in the bed of the truck to pass out as well!
