In downtown Los Angeles’ skid row, 43 MERCYworldwide volunteers served the unhoused community by distributing food and beverages to 280 men, women, and children!! Many of the recipients expressed gratitude for the supplies. Mayor of Skid Row, Kevin, shared his thanks for coming out and serving the people. There is a great need for help. He stated “You guys coming out here is making a difference”.

While distributing supplies, our MERCYworldwide ambassadors took the opportunity to engage and encourage each person we served.

Our Sunday Service was one for the books! Many guests and family visited us for service. The fellowship was buzzing!

The Rodríguezes kicked off the service with a cheerful welcome. Isai Rivera shared deeply about Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross and what it means to him and Kriztoff Andreas Mabalot preached about why our giving is so important in the Kingdom.

Adam Zepeda preached a profound sermon on the story of Gideon. He challenged us all to go after true obedience and deep faith in our relationships with God.

God rescued another soul in the Cal State LA ministry!

The Cohens closed out with reflection on the service and reminders of the goals to carry with us throughout the week. Please join our congregational CAICC Sunday service in Long Beach next week!

What a triumphant Sunday Service we had here in the City Center Super Region! We received a great treasure in having the spectacular Barcelona ICC ministry leaders, Anthony & Cassidy Olmos visit us. Adam and Lauren Zepeda encouraged us with a loving welcome and Cassidy Olmos inspired us all as she shared her heart for communion. Caleb Cohen preached a powerful charge for contribution. Anthony Olmos preached the Word with a message that was deeply felt. His sermon was titled, "You Can Do It With Jesus".

After, two incredible women, Johanna & Ivette declared Jesus as Lord of their lives and were baptized! Our valiant City Center leaders Matthew & Salma Rodriguez closed out the service!

MERCYWORLDWIDE 💚
July 27th 2024

Amazingly, last Saturday, within two hours, 8 MERCY Ambassadors were able to serve 45 elderly residents by volunteering at an assisted living facility where an incredible car show and farmers market took place!

Having served at this assisted living facility just a week ago, residents were shocked and overjoyed to see MERCY Ambassadors return so quickly!

The Ambassadors rolled up their sleeves and helped pick up any trash surrounding the facility! They also helped the vendors set up their tables at the farmers market, where there were all kinds of vintage and awesome trinkets and merchandise! Lastly, they were able to serve the residents, vendors, and classic car owners by providing waters, snacks, and any other assistance they needed!

The MERCY Ambassadors had a blast engaging with the residents and serving to make sure the car show and farmers market was an eventful time for the residents! 💚

The love of Jesus was truly shown! ✨

MERCYWORLDWIDE 💚
July 20th 2024

Excitingly, on Saturday, 15 MERCY Ambassadors and 1 visitor were able to serve 27 elderly by volunteering at an Assisted Care Facility in the city of San Dimas!

The residents were filled with joy as the MERCY ambassadors and residents alike took part in sharpening the body and mind in several rounds of fun-filled activities, such as Wii Bowling, trivia, puzzles, memory games, and chair exercises! 💚

The Director of Activities even had MERCY Ambassadors share what their own personal life goals are! One MERCY Ambassador shared his Dream of planting a church in Finland! The director was so moved by it that she invited the Ambassadors to come back and preach at the facility! 💚✨

Impactful memories were made as the elderly also shared their incredible stories with the MERCY Ambassadors! Many of the residents expressed deep sadness and loneliness. However, they were left full of hope and gratitude as the Ambassadors shone Jesus’ light and gave their hearts!

The Lord was truly at work in the hearts of the residents as two of them were interested in sitting down and attending a bible study to strengthen their relationship with God!

This is just one of many miracles that God will continue to do through MERCY!

MERCYWORLDWIDE 💚
July 6th 2024

This past Saturday, within three hours, 24 MERCY Ambassadors were able to serve 30 elderly residents by volunteering at a Memory Care facility carnival in the area of San Dimas! 💚🎡

Having served at this same care facility for our 2024 MERCY Day a month ago, the residents and staff were so impacted by MERCY’s compassion in action that they invited the ambassadors to come back and serve again in an even greater way!

The MERCY ambassadors rolled up their sleeves and served delicious treats and the seniors’ hearts were filled with joy and gratitude as they enjoyed various activities such as indoor bowling, face painting, crafts and even Limbo! Residents also made lasting memories with their loved ones at the carnival’s photo booth!

“Thank you for being here! There are a lot of nice things you can do and this is one of them!” 💚✨

This is only one of the many words shared during the event about how MERCY let Jesus’ light shine!

Very excitedly the East Region was able to have an incredible Mercy Day by serving the elderly and the homeless!💚💚

In 12 hours total, 87 ambassadors and 6 visitors in attendance, were able to serve 108 people in need! There were many laughs and heartfelt moments made along the way!

30 Mercy Ambassadors served at a Memory Care facility with those who have Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Many of those served felt extremely loved and cared for, as they played Uno, Bowling, and even had an Ice Cream Social with short charges!

Here are a few quotes from the residents:
“These are the opportunities that you cherish the most and go back to. These moments are what you get to hold onto.”

“I remember hearing this scripture in 6th grade when I was younger, it was nice to hear it again.”

These were just a few of the words shared during the event that made everyone’s day, some even had mentioned how they didn’t want us to leave but continue to extend our visit! A notable moment came from Monica who started to cry when she heard we were leaving because she was able to create such a strong bond with the ambassadors!💚💚

A whopping 57 Mercy Ambassadors were able to help serve those in need on the streets of Pomona! With the help of donations, clothing and fresh water were handed out to all those who were in the area! A few ambassadors took it upon themselves to buy sandwich material and started making sandwiches in the bed of the truck to pass out as well!

MERCYWORLDWIDE 💚
April 20th, 2024

Last Saturday, within an hour and a half, 13 MERCY Ambassadors with 2 visitors were able to pass out both food and clothes to 60 people in need in the area of Pomona. The hearts of the people were filled with gratitude as they expressed how amazing GOD is and how much they appreciated this kind act by MERCYWORLDWIDE! During this time, it was awesome to see the Gospel being spread as 7 Bible Studies were set up! 💚🙏💚🙏

It was very incredible and sobering to hear many people in Pomona, such as Norman, Jonathon, and Anthony, share their powerful testimonies!

A woman by the name of China shared very vulnerably to us the tragedies that she was currently facing, but regardless she showed her appreciation! We were able to pray with her and she said, “Thank you so much for coming on out and showing love to us.” 🫶💚
