It was an honor to serve as a guest judge at today’s Christ Church Chili Cook-Off in Pomfret. The cook-off benefits the J2A Youth Group and their summer pilgrimage. Selectman Patrick McCarthy, Henri Bessette, and I had difficulty determining a winner due to the high quality of the entries. Congratulations to all, and thank you for the invitation!

Chili Cook-Off Postponed!

The annual Christ Church Pomfret Chili Cook-Off is postponed to Sunday, Feb. 8, at 11:30 a.m. due to weather.

Please join us in the Great Hall tomorrow for delicious hot chili and friendly competition and conversation.

The event is free; however, donations are welcome in support of our J2A youth group.
