Back to Basics Mens Retreat The Back to Basics Men's retreat is for those looking to get back to the basics of a Christian life. We will also have some good fun.

We will spend the weekend discussing Salvation through Christ, Prayer, Obedience, Discipleship, and Accountability. Lodging will be in the form of dorm style cabins that sleep 15 - 17 persons. Bedding, such as pillows, sheets, and blankets, are NOT provided so you MUST bring your own. There are beds with mattresses. Food will be a Gumbo on Friday night, Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday consisting

of bacon, sausage, biscuits, Etc. Dinner on Saturday will be Chili. Lunch on Saturday and Sunday will be hamburgers and Hot dogs. We will have a hatchet throwing contest through out the weekend with a prize and trophy being awarded to the winner. There are walking trails and plenty of areas to get off by yourself to reflect on scripture and/or what has been discussed or to just relax.

We are already working on next year’s Retreat. We learned a lot this year. Next year is going to be even better.
The tentative dates for the 2nd annual Back to Basics Men’s Retreat are February 17th - 19th 2023.
