Polk City United Methodist Church Welcoming, transforming, serving with We have an active youth group and children's ministry. Worship is offered Sundays at 9:30am.

Our church is a progressive congregation whose mission is to be a welcoming, transforming and serving community of faith who love like Jesus. Our church also operates a free health clinic and walk-in food pantry on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month. We also support the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry and many other mission outreach projects. We invite you to come and worship, study, grow and LOVE with us.

Youth Group is back Wednesday, September 16!
We are kicking off a new year of Youth Group on Wednesday, September 16! We will meet Wednesdays from 7–8 pm in the Wing. Youth in grades 6–12 are welcome for fun, faith, and friends as we grow together in Christ.

Youth - fantastic job with today's church service! I loved hearing your stories and witness from the mission trip! Lexi, Carly, and Noah - I so enjoyed your stories from the Simpson Youth Academy. You are wonderful leaders!
