VBS is almost here, and we can’t wait for an incredible week at Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23.

From exciting games and worship to crafts, Bible teaching, snacks, and team challenges, this is one of the best weeks of the summer for kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Each night, they’ll learn how God leads them as Shepherd, Comforter, Provider, and Promise Keeper.

Twenty-one years ago, a small group gathered in a home with a simple desire: follow Jesus, love people, and share the hope of the Gospel.

Today, we're grateful for God's faithfulness through every season. Through changed lives, baptisms, friendships, ministry, growth, and countless stories of His grace, Jesus has continued to build His church.

As we celebrate 21 years of Lakeside Fellowship, we praise God for all He has done and look forward with confidence to all He will continue to do.

"Jesus is still building His church."

What a special day for our church family.

Today we celebrated God's faithfulness through 21 years of ministry at Lakeside Fellowship as we sent Pastor Dave and Deb to serve with Atlas Church in Waukee. We also rejoiced as Pastor Trevor was officially installed as our new Lead Pastor.

We're grateful for the many lives that have been impacted through Pastor Dave and Deb's faithful service, and we're excited to see how God will continue to work through Atlas Church and through Lakeside in this next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship, fellowship, and the church picnic. Today was a reminder that Jesus is building His church, and we're thankful to be part of His work.

"To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:21

Join us this Sunday, May 31, at 8:30 or 10:30am as we celebrate what God has done through 21 years of Lakeside Fellowship and look ahead to what He is continuing to do in the days ahead.

We’ll thank God for Pastor Dave and Deb as they step into a new season serving with Atlas Church in Waukee, and we’ll celebrate the installation of Pastor Trevor as Lakeside’s next Lead Pastor.

After the second service, join us for an all-church picnic at the Sandpiper Rec Area. Bring lawn chairs, yard games, and come spend the afternoon together as a church family.

God has been faithful through every season, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. We’d love for you to join us.
