Jesus' words in Matthew 6:24 are clear: you cannot serve two masters. Trying to serve both God and money means you're actually serving money. God demands the throne in your heart, and anything less than serving Him alone isn't serving Him at all.

Yesterday was the second week of Church on the Square, and it was a special morning together in the heart of Polk City.

We heard stories of how God is at work, celebrated those who followed Christ in baptism, worshiped together, and then stuck around for a picnic and time together as a church family.

We’re thankful for every person who joined us—and even more thankful for the ways God continues to work in and through Lakeside.

Join us next week as we’re back inside for our regular Sunday services at Lakeside, 8:30 and 10:30AM.

Kids4Truth is back for the 2026–2027 school year!

If you have kids in Kindergarten–5th grade, this is a great way for them to learn about God, Jesus, and the Bible while having a ton of fun!

🗓 New Family Orientation: Sunday, September 13th at 12:15 with a pizza lunch
🗓 Program Starts: Sunday, September 20th
💲 Early Bird (through Aug 31): $25/child — $75 family max
💲 After Sept 1: $35/child — $105 family max

Cost includes class shirt, Truth Book, cinch sack (for new kids), and prizes throughout the year. Scholarships available.

This Sunday—Church on the Square! 🌳

Join us at Polk City Square on August 23 at 9:30 AM for one outdoor worship service. Bring a chair and invite a friend!

The service will conclude with baptisms, followed by a church picnic. We can’t wait to worship and celebrate together!
