EDGE met last night to further discuss the Liturgy of the Word. The meaning of The Liturgy of the Word was brought home with a marshmallow mountain activity. The activity being the "ascent" to the source and summit of our Catholic Faith, the Eucharist.

Edge /YM met on Sunday, December 1st to discuss how actions speak louder than words. After games, food and fun, the teens made ornaments for the parish staff. They put their faith in action by expressing their gratitude for Fr. Martin and his staff for their continued support of our parish teens. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Teens, please be sure to join us tonight from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the Parish Youth Center for a "Special Edition" Edge/YM meeting. We will have our usual games, food and fun as we discuss the parish Advent theme by delving deeper into the meaning and graces of The Sacraments of Initiation.

Holy Family Religious Education hosted their annual Advent Retreat for over 40 young parishioners. They learned about the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. They enjoyed crafts, songs, reenactments, fellowship with friends, and Mass. A special thank you to our teen helpers for being a part of this day.

Holy Family EDGE/Youth Ministry is hosting a special Game Night! THIS SUNDAY, November 17th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Parish Youth Room!

Food will be provided! Please let your teens know that they WILL NOT want to miss our get together this Sunday! Fr. Rovnak has a stockpile of Sonic, Mario Kart, Dance Dance Revolution, etc., from his childhood that he is setting up for all to share. Please have your teen bring a board game from home to share for those who are interested in that option on game night.

Thank you for your support of our teens and in helping them build a christian community with their peers!

Our EDGE/YM group met on November 3rd to learn about The Parable of the Talents. We enjoy pizza and snacks, and some fun and challenging games! Please join us on November 17th when we will have a Social Night. We will be playing vintage video games and enjoying vintage snacks from as far back as the 1980's! This evening is being presented by a "Special Guest Host." All teens grades 7-12 are welcome to join us. Be sure to bring a friend or two!
