Military Monday
Today, on this Labor Day, we offer a special prayer for all service members. While many of us are enjoying a day of rest, countless members of our military remain faithfully at their posts, serving our nation with courage and dedication. May God reward their service, protect them in every duty, and keep them close to His loving care. "Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen."

Great Food, Great Fun, Great Fellowship and a little rain!

Thanks to all the volunteers who continue to make the Holy Family Parish Picnic a success each year. Even a little rain did not dampen the fellowship of our Holy Family community.
A very special thank you to the Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council #15573 for their generous donation to support the children’s and teen raffle and game prizes. Greg Gillis and his band of volunteers were awesome yet again. Participants had a blast even in the rain.

Members of the Holy Family Third Source Committee and the Knights were essential to setting up the tents and more importantly, masters of the kitchen. Who will forget those cheesy potatoes!

Congratulations to all the auction winners and a big thank you to the businesses and individuals who donated this year.

Today we are throwing it back to just last year... September 3, 2025. Last year on this day, Fr. Martin talked to the students at a School Mass about St. Gregory the Great. Since today we celebrate the Feast of St. Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church, we thought it was a good time to bring his homily. St. Gregory was always helping others and today we are reminded to help others as well! Fr. Martin brought out a first-aid kit as part of his homily. We use first aid kits to help when we have injuries, heal a wound, or when something hurts. Fr. Martin asked how do we turn a first-aid kit into a first-aid kid? First-aid kids are when we are helping others in need. Father challenged the students to pay attention to their classmates, being attentive to the needs of others. Be that child that wants to help another child feel better. Fr. Martin told us that we are all invited to help others in need Be a "First-Aid Kid" and help one another . Be a bandaid that can change a life. Have a wonderful day!
