Lord, sometimes I think faith means I have to stay strong all the time. I pressure myself to have all the answers, never struggle, and never feel afraid. When my heart feels weak or uncertain, I wonder if my faith is failing.

But You remind me that faith is not about how tightly I hold onto You. It is about trusting that You are already holding onto me.

Like a child resting safely in a loving parent’s arms, You invite me to rest instead of striving. A child does not understand every step ahead or carry the burden of controlling the journey. They simply trust the one carrying them. And that is the kind of faith You are teaching me, a faith built on surrender, dependence, and rest.

You know how tired my soul becomes from trying to hold everything together alone. You see the fears I carry quietly, the doubts I wrestle with, and the pressure I place on myself to never fall apart. Yet even in weakness, Your love remains steady.

Thank You for being faithful when my strength runs low. Thank You for holding me through seasons when my prayers feel small and my faith feels fragile. Even when I cannot feel Your presence clearly, You are still near. Even when I stumble, Your grip does not loosen.

Teach me to stop measuring faith by perfection and instead trust in Your constant care. Help me lay down fear, release control, and rest in the truth that I am safely held by You.

Today, Lord, I choose to lean back into Your arms and trust the God who never lets go.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
