Congregation B’nai Harim is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy individual to serve as our Part-Time Administrator (10–15 hours per week, hybrid).

Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining accurate membership records, payments, and donations

Learning and managing ShulCloud (our synagogue operating system)

Updating the synagogue website

Creating materials using Canva

Providing administrative support to the President, Rabbi, Treasurer, Bookkeeper, and committee chairpersons

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with technology, able to work independently, and committed to supporting our vibrant synagogue community.

Celebrate Tu B’Shevat with us as we welcome the Jewish New Year of the Trees! Join our community for a lay-led seder, followed by a festive lunch featuring an assortment of fruits and nuts that grow on trees, along with Israeli-inspired dishes. Come enjoy good food, good company and meaningful tradition.

Pocono Mountain West Middle & High School 💫
Many local students come from families who struggle to afford everyday personal care items. Something as simple as shampoo or deodorant can make a big difference in a young person’s confidence, comfort, and well-being.

Please consider purchasing and donating new, unopened personal hygiene items, including:

A Hanukkah Message from Rabbi Berlin

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the victims of the horrific terrorist attack in Sydney as the Jewish community gathered together to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah. We stand with the Jewish community of Australia as we mourn the victims.
As we light the first candle of Hanukkah this evening, may it bring light into our darkened world.

🕎 Hanukkah Party — Friday, December 19 at 4pm — and everyone’s invited!
No RSVP needed… just show up with your menorah, your family, your friends, and your holiday spirit! 💙
We’ll have cookie decorating, crafts, dreidels, latkes, singing, and a beautiful community lighting.
✨ We’re also collecting items for Project Warm to support local Veterans. Bring hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, hand warmers, batteries, mugs, or hot chocolate/tea packets if you’re able.
Let’s celebrate Hanukkah together and spread warmth in every way! 🎉🧤💙
