Yes And amen!!

This is my friend Bishop Martin Kulu. He was a former witch doctor for over 30 years, got born again many years ago and is now the bishop of 10 churches throughout Kenya.

Four years ago we met in a small village and he shared some of his testimony. Very few people have inspired my faith as this man…because he has lived out what many of us simply talk about. Since he was born again, he has raised three people from the dead. He raised his son from the dead after being dead 3 days and also raised a witch doctor’s daughter from the dead that resulted in the entire family giving their life to Jesus. The story of what took place over those three days with his son is absolutely incredible.

I’ll take raw, unrefined faith that produces results any day over a polished refined sermon that produces information.

Bishop Kulu, thank you for your faith and inspiration to continue advancing.

Kingdoms Thinking

Driving to a job today, I put on a worship mix I recently created. It happens to be my 59th bday and this modern classic starts playing- “all my life you have been faithful-all my life you have been so so good, with every breath that I am able - I will sing of the goodness of God.” Can’t explain it, but it hit me sooo hard in a good way- I just laughed and cried in His birthday presence. God knows how to speak - to bring such lyrics alive and literally speak them to your heart.

He’s been faithful on my best days and worst days - my best years and my worst years - He has been my Ever-Present-Help!
He’s been El-Shaddai and Jehovah Shammah! Always and without fail a covenant keeping mercy giving life restoring God! Praise you Lover of my soul!
