A meeting was held today to select a new president following the desire of Doug Butler to step down after serving for 5 years.
Aaron Tobey Jr. was selected as the new president, Katie Wallet as the vice president and Doug Butler will continue as a member of the board stepping into the role of treasurer.
The two at large board members are Kay Wright and Jenn Bonsagni. There are two vacancies on the board.

The cemetery was recently mowed and is looking very peaceful and respectable this morning.

We are looking for someone to cut a few trees within the cemetery. None that are very large. If anyone has recommendations of someone who can cut the trees and take away the debris from them at a price we can afford please let me know.

We are looking pretty good for Memorial Day 2019.
It has been 184 years since the first person was interred here. As I walk these grounds I see many men and women who have served in the military. I see many graves of folks who have lived very long lives and also see the resting places of too many unfortunate children who likely passed away due to disease before modern medicines were created which likely would save them today. Regardless of what the cause of death was each and every person here had a life, was loved and had a story. Our job is to respect them all by caring for their resting place and keeping it the dignified cemetery it should be.
