Our PTBC Church Covenant emphasizes pursuing the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. This oneness is something the Holy Spirit gives to believers and preserves in the family of God. Cultivating this peace involves growing in humility, patience, and love toward one another.

Ephesians 4:1-3 says, "I [Paul] therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Reaching & Teaching International Ministries is in the middle of a prayer campaign for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pastor Scott recently prayed for the lost in KL, asking that the seed of the gospel would be sown and powerfully take root in this part of the world.

Local churches are invited to be diligent in praying for God's hand to work mightily among the nations!

Laying a foundation of faith in Jesus is essential before we consider our responsibilities to one another in our local church. As we build out what it means to covenant with one another over the next few weeks through our PTBC church covenant, we must establish belief in the same gospel and recognition of giving ourselves to Christ himself.

John 1:11-12 says,"He [Jesus] came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
