Clean up on Burial Hill was a great success! We collected very little litter once again. Everybody just takes care to treat this burying ground with respect. Thank you to the DPW as well. When a site is so obviously cared for, visitors take note and respond in kind. The first town clean-up we participated in was on November 4, 2011. The volunteers that day filled over 100 bags of litter! Today, we barely filled 1/4 of the bag. To avoid wasting time on the Hill, to honor our Veterans, we replaced worn and tattered flags with crisp new ones.
