✳️ 72 Sending Labs were held in 2025 with 695 churches represented—to gain a vision of what it’s like to take responsibility as sending church for a new plant.

✳️ We had the joy of hosting 19 Residency Builders events with 298 churches learning how to build a church planter residency in their church.

✳️ 17 Learning Communities brought 146 churches together to help radically multiply and catalyze other churches to plant churches.

“We are incredibly grateful for every Southern Baptist church that stepped out in 2025 to plant a church,” NAMB president Kevin Ezell said.

“Every region of North America needs more churches, and it is encouraging to see Southern Baptists taking up the challenge. I also want to thank those Baptist associations and state conventions who have made church planting and church planters a priority.”

One Day. One Room. One Mission.

We love being in the room with our Send Michigan family! Incredible day of connection, equipping, and encouragement. All of us want to see God’s Kingdom advance in our communities through our churches.

Here’s the question…

We are believing and praying that God would continue to move throughout Michigan through YOU. Looking forward to the next time we gather together!

In 2025, Southern Baptists planted 792 churches!
📈 699 new plants (Highest since 2016)
🙌 93 replants (praise God)

Added to our convention ⬇️
32 new campuses & 127 new affiliates

Altogether - 951 total new congregations in 2025!

💡 But “churches added” isn’t the end goal.
Its souls reached, disciples made, and cities impacted.

We are celebrating with Pastor Chris Ridler and Living Hope Community Church in answered prayer and a move of God!

They have been actively praying to reach the 1% in their community with the Gospel. As of last week, they have seen 1% in their community give their life to Christ and step forward in baptism through gospel conversations. In 18 months, they have seen 40 baptisms and 25 decisions for Christ!

Simply remarkable what God is doing in Eaton Rapids, MI! Join us in praying for Chris and Living Hope!
