UPDATE ON CAROLYN WILLAMS:
Awesome news the surgery part is done and successful. When the dr came out it scared the crap out of us. But he called in a team of doctor’s because he knows her heart is not good and he did not want it struggling. So 3 surgeons were working at once. They were sewing her up and should be done by 11:30. This is such a relief.

Even though my mom’s mind is not the best lately. I should still listen to her. She kept saying they are wrong Dr Osborn said surgery is only a couple hours because I am special and they are doing something new.

Please keep Carolyn Williams, the wife of
Win Williams, our past Director of Disaster Relief, in your prayers.
On Thursday December 4th, she will be undergoing circulatory surgery on her legs. If this is not successful, amputation will be required. Let's all circle up and keep her in our prayers during this time.πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

Blessings...
Many of you know "Mom Dian" Brooks.
Mom to everyone who came to serve through the Michigan Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team.
You were FAMILY to her. Whether you wanted to be or not. She loved everyone the same, got 'caned' when they needed it and mouthed off at too. Her humor, love and tender heart won us all. There wasn't a stranger that she couldn't make smile or laugh and make their day.
Blessings. She always taught us about those.
Lived it. Was just that...A blessing.
It's hard to close this day and talk about blessings...as she has been called Home to be with Jesus. That makes all of us so sad....I know.
😭πŸ₯€
But that's what she would want her Daughter to do...
Not just me, but all of her family that wore the yellow to do.
Share the blessings.
So here goes...
Mom Dian was the biggest blessing in my life.
She accepted me and loved me as her own daughter. She came to both of my parents funerals. She heard me cry and cried with me.
She rejoiced with me over all my children when they got married and when they had babies of their own and claimed them as her own great grandchildren. She kept a prayer journal of every prayer request I ever shared with her and called for updates when I failed to remember to keep her in the loop. Every holiday, birthday and special event in my life, I could count on getting a card from her...yet she wouldn't ever tell me what HER birthday was!
I could fill this page with one blessing after another about Mom.
But the greatest was knowing that she loved me enough to travel with me, pick on me and be considered as one of her own. One that she always looked forward to seeing once we got there and hated to say good bye to.🌼
