In November, Living Peace member and University of Michigan student Zakaria shared that his sister, Rebecca, was going to have her lower leg amputated due to a serious infection. Rebecca, who lives in Nigeria with her four children, previously provided for her family by working on a farm. This unexpected amputation has left Rebecca without work and unable to provide for her family, and unfortunately, prostheses are prohibitively expensive for the average Nigerian.

This GoFundMe is set up to assist Rebecca and her children. While the goal is intended to provide money for a prosthetic device for Rebecca, anything above or below that goal will be used to support her family. Please consider giving - any amount helps!

Living Peace Church has lost two amazing women in two weeks. Merna Short and Nancy Stoner have gone to join their Lord and many dear friends and family. Both Merna and Nancy were an integral part of our congregation, and we will miss them forever. Please be in prayer for the Short and Stoner families, as well as our congregation, as we mourn and celebrate the lives of these two extraordinary women.
