What happens when church leaders slow down, step back, and ask, “What is God calling us to do next?”

Yesterday in Ga***rd several of our Northern Michigan churches gathered for our Strengthening Lab & Fellowship Dinner to do just that.

Together, they took a holistic look at their churches—celebrating what’s healthy, identifying areas that need attention, and considering how the people, resources, and time God has entrusted to them can be leveraged for greater Kingdom impact.

Through Awareness, Vision, Strategy, and Courage, leaders worked through one central question: What is our next step to accelerate gospel movement?

That meant looking beyond the walls of the church to consider how we can engage the city with the gospel, equip disciples, and expand the kingdom.

When churches are strengthened, the gospel goes further! 🙌

Andrea Lennon serves as the Director of Lifeway Women and is a gifted Bible teacher with a passion for helping women know the truth, live the truth, and share the truth. A graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2004), Andrea lives in Arkansas with her husband, Jay. Together they are grateful for their two sons, two daughters-in-law, one sweet granddaughter, and one very chill dog.

Today, we had the privilege of partnering with the ERLC and Bay Area Baptist Association of Michigan to dedicate a new ultrasound machine at LifeClinic Community Resources in Saginaw. ❤️

For many women facing an unplanned pregnancy, seeing the life growing within them can be a life-changing moment. Studies have shown that many mothers who are given the opportunity to see their baby through an ultrasound choose life.

Because ultrasound machines can cost tens of thousands of dollars, many pregnancy resource centers simply don't have the resources to provide this critical service. Through the Psalm 139 Project, ministry partners are helping equip centers like LifeClinic with the technology and training needed to serve women and families with compassion, hope, and care.

Today's dedication was more than the unveiling of a machine—it was a celebration of Southern Baptist cooperation and a commitment to supporting mothers, fathers, and children in their greatest times of need.

Join us in praying that God would use this new resource to impact countless lives in the Great Lakes Bay Region for years to come. 🙏
