Today we pause to remember and honor Juneteenth, the day that marked the end of slavery in the United States and a significant step toward freedom for many Americans.

As followers of Christ, we recognize the purpose, value, and dignity of every person as image-bearers of God. Today, we celebrate freedom, honor history, and pray for a future marked by hope, healing, and unity.

May we continue to be people who love our neighbors well, pursue reconciliation, and reflect the heart of Christ in our communities.
