Whewww! Talk about a fun, messy day! Our kids had a blast, and so did the big kids, with all the water and messy activities we had planned. There were plenty of water fights, shaving cream, and paint to go around and cause some chaos! We played musical chairs, a few other games, and even had a food (Cheerios) eating contest. You would think the children would be tired after spending the whole day running around, but that wasn’t the case! I’m pretty sure the ice cream didn’t help with that either. It’s safe to say there are five adults getting a great night of sleep tonight and probably a few of them waking up sore tomorrow! After all the outside fun was over, we came inside and had our evening lesson. It was a great day! We are so blessed to have the awesome kids we do in our youth group!

Our Wednesday night class went singing at the nursing home last night. What a blessing it is to see our young children singing for Jesus! Join us next Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:00.

Our children are learning “The Fruit of the Spirit” a 9-week curriculum, on Sunday mornings during Children’s Church. This past Sunday was our third week into the curriculum, and we learned about peace. The teacher had the children play a game called “Peaceful Balance”. The object of the game was to help us understand what peace looks like. In life, there are times when things feel shaky or out of control, but when we trust Jesus, he helps us stay calm and steady, just like when we balance something carefully.
The kids put books on their head and tried to balance them. One child mastered the skill and kept a book on her head for a few minutes! There were many laughs, and we learned to stay calm and peaceful, just like Jesus helps us do when things around us seem scary.

Our youth group had a fun morning at Sawyer’s Fun Park and enjoyed some food afterwards.

🍀VBS night 4🍀

What an incredible four days God has given us!
As we wrapped up our Irish adventure through Psalm 23, our hearts were full as we watched the children share everything they learned throughout the week. Their songs, Bible verses, and smiling faces were a beautiful reminder that God’s word is being planted in young hearts. We pray the lessons learned this week will stay with these children for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who helped make VBS such a success this year. Our volunteers, parents, and especially the children, we are so grateful for you all. We look forward to seeing all your faces again for next year’s VBS! 🍀🐑✝️
