We are super excited for our LOC Blueberry Parade happening TOMORROW!!! Below are the details you need to know! But please reach out if you have any questions! 😄

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• Meet at the church tomorrow morning at 7:30 am
• We will not leave the church until 8:15 am (Michigan and Jefferson are usually blocked off) - so this allows enough time for everyone to get there and pray together!
• Our spot is right next to school’s administration building (right behind church) - it is a very short walk to our spot.
• Step off is 9:30 am, there will be some waiting when we get to our spot.
• Wear your Love Our City shirts. If you do not have one, please wear an all black shirt.
• If you’d rather meet us there, call/text Trinity at 574-216-6343 and she will let you know where to find us
• Walkers can walk along the sidewalks and grassy area and hand out candy or items but not in the street, nor can we throw anything into the crowd

Even if you didn’t sign up, just show up! Let’s spread some love and shine a light on Jesus! ❤️ We can’t wait to see you there for this fun tradition!

🫐 BLUEBERRY PARADE PREP! 🫐

Thousands of suckers, treats and little prizes…120 doggie treat bags…and signs with messages we hope somebody along the parade route needs to hear. ❤️

Tomorrow isn’t just about walking in a parade. It’s another opportunity to LOVE OUR CITY.

We’re going to make some kids smile, love on some dogs 😂🐶, and remind people:

❤️ You are not forgotten.
❤️ Jesus is for you.
❤️ You matter.

I LOVE seeing adults, teens and kids all working together to get everything ready.

Throughout the year, Love Our City gives us opportunities to bless people all over our community—from first responders and seniors to teachers, families, local organizations and people who simply need to know someone cares.

We’re doing ONE BIG COLLECTION to help stock Love Our City for the next several months of outreach.

Grab a basket or bucket, purchase the items on the attached list, and return it to Heartland.

Together, we’re going to be ready to LOVE OUR CITY whenever an opportunity comes. ❤️

For the last 10 years, Trunk or Treat has been one of our BIGGEST community events. Last year alone, around 1,200 people came through! When we started 10 years ago, hardly anyone around us was doing Trunk or Treat. Now they’re everywhere…so we decided it’s time to do something NEW! 🙌

This year, instead of Trunk or Treat, we’re introducing…

We’ve had 10 AMAZING years of Trunk or Treat, and we’re so thankful for every person who has helped make it what it was.

Our hope is that Heartland Harvest becomes a day families look forward to every year — a place to spend the afternoon together, have a ton of fun and experience what Love Our City is all about.
